NTD is the leading authority on tenant information and is fully endorsed by REIWA. National Tenancy Database was the first and is the largest tenancy information provider in Australia and is accepted by the industry as a prerequisite for checking prospective tenants.

  • 1985

    The first iteration of the system was pioneered under the name Rent Check and in partnership with REIWA became the first tenancy checking system in Australia.

  • 1999

    The system became known as the National Tenancy Database, and went online as the internet became a part of daily life.

  • 2000

    Collection House Ltd procured the system that was rapidly gaining popularity in the industry and NTD went from strength to strength, overcoming the challenges of legislative change.

  • 2007

    NTD was acquired by Veda, the largest and most sophisticated provider of business intelligence in Australia and New Zealand.
